Assessment services are offered to clients of the certifying bodies which have retained Sybil D’Oria as lead auditor. Audits include system analysis and management system assessment. These can be in the form of an initial certification audit, a surveillance audit or for the renewal of an existing certification.

Another popular form of review is a “process audit” where one process within a company (for example, risk management, corporate governance or customer support) is reviewed and assessed as to the efficiency and effectiveness of the process. Recommendations for improvement are made and the client receives a certificate called a Quality Seal if there are no material errors in the existing process.

Both an ISO certification and a Quality Seal demonstrate to customers that the company has an effective management system or process in place which leads to higher client satisfaction, increased ability to compete as a supplier, and reduced costs.

Many companies see the value in becoming certified (increased quality, security and a more sustainable impact on their environment). Certification bodies do not train or consult clients directly in order to avoid any potential conflict of interest. Sycheck is here to assist companies implement all policies, processes and required documentation in order to assure that the first certification audit is a successful audit, resulting in the issuance of a certificate.

In order for a company to be certification ready, resources have to be allocated and people trained to support the new management system. Two roles necessary for the effective implementation and maintenance of most management systems are the Quality Manager and the Internal Auditor.
