To celebrate a 10 year commitment to Quality in mobility management, in 2008 EuRA launched the world's first accreditation process for relocation providers. Audited independently through our audit partner DQS, the EuRA Quality Seal is an ISO 9001 equivalent audit process for relocation providers. Below is the recognition of the first certified members at EuRA’s 10 year anniversary conference in Rome, 2008. Ms. D’Oria is the global project manager for this industry specific certification and lead auditor.

Knowledge Transfer for Companies in Developing Countries
One current training project is being conducted together with the Rhein-Main Chamber of Handcrafts. Executives from companies in developing countries (in this case, in Ethiopia) are being trained on the prerequisites and requirements necessary for the implementation and maintenance of a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2000. Certification under this standard is necessary for many of these companies to do business with international brands which require that all of their suppliers are certified (either ISO 9001 or Social Accountability 8000).
The first of a series of company training sessions commences at the beginning of 2008 in Addis Ababa where Sycheck will be responsible for helping several companies become certification ready.

Building a Certification Body in Ethiopia
Frau D’Oria, in conjunction with the QSAE project team, drafted the Quality Manual as well as Key Processes and Procedures required for their successful certification. In January, 2008 the QSAE leadership team implemented the general management system under ISO/IEC 17021.

Social Accountability International (SAI)’s mission is to promote human rights for workers around the world. They are best known for SA8000 – their comprehensive and flexible system for managing ethical workplace conditions throughout global supply chains. Frau D’Oria works together with SAI to provide SA 8000 auditor training. Below is a picture of participants of the course conducted in Aarhus, Denmark in October, 2008.
