Training for a new start
New Start Workshop
Sycheck has developed a workshop for people who have to start over - either on their own initiative or when jobs are rationalized and people are “out-placed”. This workshop is designed to help companies through this difficult transition and to help employees by providing the tools required for an effective new start in either the same, or a different career.
The course is offered over three days in a quiet hotel in the woods of Hofheim am Taunus, where practical experience and skills are learned including personality profiling, effective time management and advanced communication/interviewing skills. Partnering companies include the company Sprach-Coach, whos Managing Director, Claudia Fritsch, is also active as client relationship manager at Goethe Institute in Frankfurt.
The first New Start Workshops will be offered in the Autumn of 2008 at Hotel am Rosenberg, our preferred venue for this type of workshop. Please contact us for more information and course registration.
Creating and Implementing Industry Specific Quality Standards
EuRA Members Day in Frankfurt am Main, Nov. 2007.
Industry standards are playing an ever greater role in helping practitioners within specific industries to realize the benefits of a quality management system – specific to their industry. Frau D’Oria is the lead auditor and project manager for the implementation of a new quality standard called the European Relocation Association (EuRA) Quality Seal.
This was presented to the members at the Member’s Day in Frankfurt on November 30, 2007 and many of them throughout Europe and in America have already registered for this certification.

Present Value Interactive Financial Training
Present Value Interactive Training is an eLearning software company based in Frankfurt, Germany. The company has developed a virtual training programme which supports the in-house learning of banking specialists in the areas of investment banking, trading and private banking. Sycheck has been retained to support the implementation of a quality management system including all policies, processes and documentation required for the company to become ISO 9001:2000 certified.

Participation in an ISO/DIN Working Group

Sybil D'Oria represents DQS on the ISO/DIN working group called "Software and Systems Enginering". This working group is currently drafting a new international standard on Corporate Governance for IT (ISO/IEC DIS 29382) called: Corporate Governance in Information Technology and Communication.
