The company Sycheck was founded by Sybil D’Oria to fulfil market demand from clients requiring support in implementing management systems in order to become ISO “certification ready”. Services include consulting, auditor training and assessment.
Sybil D’Oria has a degree in Economics from the University of New Mexico, and over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She worked on Wall Street in New York and during that time, continued her financial industry education by attending courses at Columbia, the New York Institute of Finance and Pace University. She has been a resident of Germany since 1990 and worked with Accenture in Kronberg, Germany from 1995 until 2007 initially as leader of the European Knowledge Management Division and then as Quality Director.
Establishing an Certification Body in Ethiopia
In the framework of the Engineering Capacity Building Program (ECBP) component III (Quality Infrastructure) the Handwerkskammer Rhein-Main is working with the Quality Standards Authority of Ethiopia (QSAE) within the Ethiopian Ministry of Trade, in a project to establish the first accredited quality management system certification body in Ethiopia.
